I don't appreciate as much those heavily photoshopped pix that are so saturated and gaudy or B&W's that are so obviously manipulated...life isn't like that and it just looks unnatural and seems to make photography yet even less of an art. Some great shots, great vistas, yes but not as wow for me

To be frank, the clues in the title 'stuff that made ME go wow' - its my journal dedicated to images THAT I LIKE.

Why the sudden interest in my landscapes based feature? - I've just been to your homepage and had a look at your favs gallery - just pages upon pages of female nudes - over 1000+ - which brings into focus the main reason your here!
Ironically, the 10% or so of landscapes in your gallery is FULL of 'heavily photoshopped pix' which have been heavily saturated - 3 are mine so I have a pretty good idea about this!! - and for gods sake you've got several HDR images there which is about the HEAVIEST style of manipulation you can get! This is so out of step with the comment you just posted that I have to seriously doubt you have any real understanding of what your attempting comment on.

Lastly - you have no gallery of your own work, so you're contrbuting anything here, and you dont suscribe so youre not paying to be here. In light of this and all the above I really do feel your taking the piss with your comment!!!!

duh! they are obviously what u like, and I didn't say anything bad per se about ur 'art' so take the pickle out. Can't anybody make a critique on art in general in the UK without somebody taking it personally and negatively?

i like landscapes, even heavily photoshopped ones sometimes, but I love women -- that is true art. But ur a prude and wouldn't understand that and can only see my favs as the reason I'm on here, which kind of makes u the prude. So what if 90% of my favs are artistic nudes? I'm a man.

lastly, u don't make the rules and can be a member without paying; how do u know how many prints I've purchased? (I buy photography all the time online) and u can ban me from ur page as I'm wholly indifferent but it does seem quite immature
